B. Thayer Associates Hosts ASLA-NY Open Studio Event

July 23, 2015 [Long Island City, NY]

B. Thayer Associates hosted 45 Landscape Architects and Designers at our Long Island City office as part of ASLA-NY's Emerging Professionals Open Studio Series. The series is a networking opportunity for chapter members to socialize with the host firm and get an understanding of the inner workings of a Landscape Architect studio. Our Landscape Team showcased illustrations of recent work, including the new Tappan Zee Bridge Hudson River Crossing, the Select Bus Service stations in Brooklyn and Manhattan, Route 347, and the Francis Lewis Park Playground.

Later that evening, Bradley Fleming, Farm Manager of the Brooklyn Grange Farm, provided our guests with a tour of the rooftop farm. This impressive example of urban agriculture was a big hit.

We would like to thank all those involved for their support!
